Digital Data & Analytics Manager (m/f/x)

What you will do
Develops and implements data- governance, strategy and smart processes to ensure efficient quality of digital data leading to increased efficiency, higher ROIs and reduction of errors. Is the global owner of all TD/PD data (new, real time and synthetic data). Leads data expert team and is accountable for execution of digital data governance, strategy & data-related processes.

• Teams up with DIT team to evaluate, design and implement data governance, data warehouses, and data lakes to support the TD/PD organization’s needs.
• Collaborates with DIT teams to ensure the security, integrity, and accessibility of digital data assets.
• Defines and enforces data governance policies and procedures to maintain data quality and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Leads initiatives to standardize data formats, naming conventions, and data classification schemes for consistency and interoperability.
• Identifies opportunities to leverage advanced analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence techniques to extract insights from digital data.
• Designs and creates data pipelines for more efficient and repeatable data science projects.
• Works closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into data management solutions.
• Develops and delivers training programs to educate employees on data management best practices and tools.
• Stays abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in digital data management to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
• Provides regular reports and updates to senior management on the performance and impact of digital data initiatives.

What you will need

• Education: Master in computer science with minimum 10 years of experience, or equivalent.
• Language skills: English fluent and German beginner.
• Experience in digital data management, database administration, and data engineering.
• Strong understanding of data governance principles, data modeling techniques, and data visualization tools.
• Process orientation, financial acumen and operational awareness are a must.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex challenges & communicate effectively.
• Digital native with knowledge in languages such as SQL, NoSQL, Python, HTML, cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), databases SAP S/4 HANA, analytic & reporting tools, LLM, Gen AI, Jira and Confluence.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and project management skills.
