Job description:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Data Architect (Data & Analytics) to join our global Data Engineering Team. As a Data Architect, you will play a pivotal role in showcasing our Data & Analytics capabilities to clients and prospects, driving proposals, conducting Proof of Concept (POC) demonstrations, and translating client business objectives into technical requirements. Your expertise in data engineering, architecture, and leadership will be critical in delivering end-to-end solutions and leading a global team of developers. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, conduct technical reviews, and represent our organization in webinars and thought leadership programs.

Responisibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients and prospects to showcase our Data & Analytics capabilities, including conducting presentations, delivering product demonstrations, and leading Proof of Concept (POC) engagements.
  • Understand the business objectives of clients and prospects, translate them into technical requirements, and provide accurate effort estimates for solution development.
  • Define the architecture vision and take ownership of the end-to-end solution design process, ensuring alignment with client needs and industry best practices.
  • Lead and mentor a global team of developers, providing guidance on technology selection, architecture governance, and security processes, while fostering the creation of reusable assets.
  • Conduct technical reviews to ensure the quality and integrity of the solutions, identifying opportunities for optimization and innovation.
  • Collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams, building meaningful relationships to achieve common goals and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Represent our organization in webinars, thought leadership programs, and industry events, demonstrating our expertise and thought leadership in the data engineering space.

Job requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in similar positions such as Lead Developer, Architect, or similar roles.
  • Proven experience in implementing large and complex Data & Analytics solutions on at least one Hyper Scaler platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
  • Depth in one Data Platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP) with a fair understanding of other platforms.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing and data lake concepts and techniques.
  • Extensive experience in data engineering, including the development of ETL frameworks and reconciliation frameworks for data quality on cloud-based data platforms such as Databricks, Azure Synapse, AWS, and GCP.
  • Experience in developing Data Models with facts and dimensions on Cloud platforms.
  • Strong SQL skills for data validations and data profiling.
  • Experience in defining KPIs and developing reports and dashboards.
  • Hands-on experience in Python/Pyspark.
  • Exposure to agile and iterative development models.
  • Developed self-presentation and sales skills, decision-making, and risk management skills.
  • Knowledge of technological and business trends in the IT area.
  • Available to travel 10-20% for client meetings and engagements.
