- BS/CS, MS/CS, or you’re proudly self-taught. We're all about finding the best of the best. At People Made Machines we know that in the world of coding and innovation, it's not about the degrees on your wall; it's about the code in your heart and the bytes in your brain.
- Proven experience within Data Engineering, preferably in a senior role.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL.
- Knowledge of tools such as Looker, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Extensive knowledge of database systems, both traditional Relational Database Management Systems and modern NoSQL databases.
- Expertise in data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and their data services, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Ability to design and implement scalable and robust data pipelines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to optimize data-related processes.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in batch and stream data processing methodologies, using tools such as Spark and Kafka, is highly desirable.
