As a member of our fast-growing AI team, you’ll work across Avanade's Data & AI practice to build and deploy bespoke, advanced data science and AI solutions for some of the world's leading businesses. Alongside this, our team work across a range of industries building solutions at the cutting edge of NLP, Computer Vision, IoT, ML, AI, and Deep Learning. What you’ll do

• Assess client requirements and design analytics solutions based on data analysis, data science, technology, and business process design
• Program leadership including delivery team leadership and stakeholder management throughout the project lifecycle
• Lead the development of ML, AI, and statistical algorithms and solutions using R and Python
• Prepare advanced data analy si s and present the results of these to business stakeholders, including solution prototypes and CRP (Conference Room Pilot) sessions
• Participate in pre-sales activities to demonstrate how data science and statistics may be applied to potential

Skills and experiences

• Significant experience in the design and build of data science solutions for customers
• Understanding of structured and unstructured data analysis, streaming data, IoT, artificial intelligence, natural language processing , and related topical analytics fields
• Significant experience in implementing/deploying data science solutions in Azure/AWS/GCP
• Experience in data analytics, BI, data warehousing, data platform development , or other relevant hands-on technical experience
• Comfortable actively engaging and leading sales and business development opportunities with clients
• Extensive commercial or academic experience of developing ML & AI solutions using R and Python

Desirable Skills

• Proven scientific research skills (published scientific papers and/or scientific conference presentations)
• Advanced degree (PhD) in machine learning, computer science, physics, applied mathematics, or statistics
