You Will Be Part of Growing Team
You will be part of the European SPSC team, reporting to the Quality Supply Leader Europe and receiving guidance from Production Systems Leader Europe.

We have an internship opportunity in the field of Data Science Intern.

Your Challenge

• Maintain simplicity and agility in all tasks. Support the fine-tuning and go-live of Operation Planning Optimizer.
• Develop a Predictive model to enhance inventory optimization, leveraging quality and field operation historical data.
• Based on result of Predictive analysis, develop a prescriptive model to recommend the actions for maximizing inventory usage and minimize discard or write-downs.
• Be a self-starter and collect all relevant information from various stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Corteva Global Data Science team.

• Sissa, Italy
• Cremona, Italy
• Versoix, Switzerland

Duration: 6month to 12 Months (preferred) from April or June 2024

Qualifications
To Grow What Matters, You Will Need

• Degree in Computer Science and Engineering
• Lean and continuous improvement mindset, with understanding and knowledge of key tools.
• Data acumen and Data management capabilities in Machine Learning tools
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R and SQL
• Experience with data reporting/visualization tools (Alteryx, Tableau, PowerBI Teams Azure and of course advanced Excel (solver)) is a plus.
• Good knowledge of data processing tools and ML /AI concepts &tools knowledge of Java Python a plus.
• Good prioritization capabilities to identify and focus on key levers.
• Comfortable working in a multicultural and fast paced environment
