Role Overview:
The Data Science team in Yettel Bulgaria is responsible for the application of cutting edge AI and ML algorithms supporting not only Yettel clients by providing proper segmentation, care and offers but also the entire organization through providing data centric insight and solutions for internal processes. The successful candidate will have the unique opportunity to work with the cutting edge LLM ecosystem and implement Natural Language solutions in Bulgarian. The opportunity is both challenging – as you will have the opportunity to work on various real life problems with high complexity and demanding as well as the progress and development of the field is quickly moving forward.

Your responsibilities will be:

• Support Yettel Bulgaria in being a data centric organization
• Lead the implementation of cutting edge AI solutions
• Provide data driven thinking throughout the organization
• Implement and improve data science algorithms for business use cases
• Drive the Data Science Roadmap and liaise between technology, business, and privacy
• Mentor junior team members on best practices and audit their work
• Drive best in class processes in data modelling and data governance
• Ensure effective stakeholder engagement and communications
• Adhere to timelines for initiatives and alert executives of any red flags
• Support Yettel’s business initiatives with a data centric approach
• Implement and monitor various internal and external chatbots
• Understand and advise on strategic and architectural levels

What we would expect from you:

• Extensive Data Science Experience: Proven track record as a Data Scientist.
• Programming Proficiency: Demonstrated programming experience, particularly with Python.
• Expert in Python for Data Science: In-depth knowledge of Python libraries such as pandas, numpy, keras, nltk, scikit-learn, pytorch, huggingface, and langchain.
• Natural Language Processing Specialist: Comprehensive understanding of NLP principles and techniques.
• Statistical and Modeling Competence: Solid grasp of fundamental statistical concepts and modeling techniques, including supervised and unsupervised learning, time series modeling, forecasting, segmentation, distributions, and significance tests.
• Analytical and Strategic Thinking: Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to navigate complex business cases and find optimal solutions.
• Curious Learner and Innovator: Driven by a strong desire to develop and learn, with an inquisitive nature that fuels continuous improvement.
• Collaborative Team Player: Excels in team environments, fostering cooperation and synergy.
• Essential Language Skills: Proficiency in English is mandatory.
