Main Purpose Of The Job
The Data & Process Analyst identify areas where the business can improve processes and other workflows in order to remain competitive in our industry. Process Analysts will liaise often with company managers and other stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance business processes. This role will gradually transform into a Data Analyst role, as soon as most of the process optimization has been finalized.

Main Accountabilities

• Monitor and optimize business processes to run more smoothly (sales and marketing focus): systems vary according to the process
• Create process documentation/workflows, knowledge articles and self-service guidance for IT Services
• Collect and document of business requirements for project and process improvement/automation efforts
• Facilitate process workflow modeling in order to collaborate on process improvements, automation capabilities and clearly defined end-to-end use cases. Adheres to all IT policies and processes.
• Review information and trends to ensure that the output of processes are achieving the desired results and that services are meeting agreed-upon service levels
• Identify issues and risks and bring inconsistencies and problems to the attention of management
• Conduct maturity assessments against the process activities to highlight areas of improvement or concerns
• Participate in the problem resolution and prepare incident details for post-mortem incident reviews
• Track major incident management process and ensure adherence of the process and escalation requirements within the various support and delivery areas

Key Skills

• Strong communication skills; both written and oral
• Team Player that can work cross-functional (both with marketing and sales-oriented roles)
• Fluent English & Dutch communication skills
• Ability to work with large amounts of information and see the ‘bigger picture’
• Critical thinking: able to look at numbers, trends, and data and come to new conclusions based on findings
• Self-starter with strong desire to see results
• Analytical and critical thinker who can breakdown complex issues into component parts
• Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage varied, time sensitive workloads
• Proven ability to work effectively within a cross-departmental team where flexibility, agility, keeping others informed and anticipating needs is essential
• Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc)
• Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
• Adept at queries, report writing and presenting finding

Relevant Experience

• BSc in Marketing, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics
• 4+ years of working experience
• Proven track as a Data Analyst, a Business Analyst or a similar role
• Experience with Business Intelligence Tools (PowerBI or Tableau)

Desirable

• Knowledge of Google Analytics, Marketo and Salesforce Sales Cloud or any other relevant digital marketing tools
• Communicates fluently in English and French
• Knowledge of Python, C++, Java
• IT background is a plus
