Computer Science Internship: Data Automation

Within ASML, the sector Development & Engineering (D&E) is responsible for the specification, design and implementation of the ASML products. In this sector, the department Software Quality & Integration (SW SQI) integrates and qualifies the various software systems into a software release.

Within SQI, the Software Integration and Release team provides efficient methods and tools to the ASML software community to support continuous integration of quality software and customer-oriented documentation on time that enables software release strategy.

Your assignment
During this internship you will extend the existing tool by adding more functionality & automation, be able to translate the requirements into a design and implementation. The main goals of the resulting software solution is to simplify daily work of a Software Project Manager, Software Integrators, and related stakeholders, through automation and tooling support for these processes.

Your profile to be the perfect match for this internship, you:

• Are a (HBO) bachelor student in Computer Science, Data Sciene or a related field, looking for an apprentice internship or graduation internship;
• Have expertise in environments like Cloud, GitHub, etc. (nice-to-have).
• Are skilled in programming, Data modelling and debugging like Python, Django or similar;
• Have some knowledge about databases (MySQL), data structures and algorithms;
• Will pro-actively take up challenges, investigate issues, have great problem solving skills and understand critical stakeholder roles and needs.

This is a bachelor/HBO apprentice internship for 5 to 6 months, minimum 4 days per week (3 on-site). The start date of the internship is as soon as possible.

Other requirements you need to meet

• You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship;
• You are located in the Netherlands to perform your internship. In case you are currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter includes the willingness to relocate;
• If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
